Stevie Nicks Substitutes Jimmy Fallon For Tom Petty With Amazing "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" Recreation

Stevie Nicks took him back to the 80s last night. Fleetwood Mac The singer, 65, appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday,

April 9, and dusted off one of his classic themes for the occasion.
Nicks joined with Fallon, 39, for his single “Stop Draggin 'My Heart around.”

Launched in 1981, the song was originally recorded as a duet between Nicks and Tom Petty. In recognition, Fallon did his best imitation of Petty, wearing a blonde wig, fitted jacket, and 80s inspired light- wash jeans.

After being introduced by alumni Nirvana Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic , the couple re-creates the original music video of Nicks and Petty filmed to accompany the song . Complete with blurry resolution, the clip features the signature dance moves Nicks ' side and head banging and grooving drummer par excellence shake.

Nicks, who also performed their 80 single “Edge of Seventeen”, is located in the city of New York for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Thursday's ceremony, which will pay tribute to the famous singer Linda Ronstadt.

The Queen of Rock and Roll is meeting with members of the band Fleetwood Mac later this year, when the group begins an international tour in September. See Nicks go retro with Fallon up.
